Leaving today to go from Jugon-les-Lacs to Capena, Italy.
Yesterday was a great consversation day with some of the long time residents of Jugon. When I get to Italy I will post all about it.

Lsat day in Jugon-les Lacs, saying goodbye to a lot of new friends, took some great pictures, when I get to Italy I will see if I can put them on blog. I have had 4 different people offer to drive me to train station in Lamballe tommorrow. I will miss all of them.

A Beautiful sun shining day in Jugon. Stopped by the Charity shope, today is the day they change the window display.
Yesterday I made some fresh mushroom ravioli, I stuffed them with shallots, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, fresh picked fennel seeds; I made a sauce with butter, shallots, mushrooms, cream and parmesan cheese.
I also had for lunch a fresh baggette filled with rouqfort cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and basil.

Monday July 27, 2009,
One of the sweet ladies for the Charity shop, Eunice , offered to drive me to get the train to Italy Friday.
I think my laptop has crashed, I will try to have it checked out when I get to Italy.
I made a new soup today, it has mussel broth,shallots, potatoes, fried onions, left over fettechini, garlic toasted crotons. I think I will call it minestrone a la Jugon.
I am having problems using the phone card, it has all the lines are buzy, their is only one phone booth and I seem to be the only one who uses it.

Still can not download pictures, I am using the laptop in Baroque Bar. The festival was very interesting, a lot of people had their faces painted, some very fancy. They had traditonal dancers , then later they had the Blues group MicMac. They were selling all kinds of food, crepes, galletes, sausage with a sauce, vegetable and rice. They also had hot dogs, roasted pig, I did not buy any food, I can make better.

Circus has come to Jugon-les-Lacs

This is a school teacher and his class, he was teaching them to barter, he was taking them from shop to shop.

Another beautiful flower, the other day, two of the large flower pots on the bridge by my apartment, ended up in the stream. the town crew came right away and picked them out of the stream.

A butterfly I saw on one of my walks, their are many of them right now.

These berry bushes grow wild all over, they are getting close to being ripe.

Ravioli I made stuffed with ham, parsely, parmesan cheese, a sauce of cream, shallots, butter and parmesan cheese.

Ducks walking on top of Dam, they were just little ducklings when I got here, the flour mill put out food for them.

The sauages for the baggettes, they put two of them in each bread , with special sauce, it cost 2 Euros, I bought one, it was good

The man who was doing the barbque at Baroque Bar on Bastille day, it was great, they had a brocette , which they put with a special sauce in a baggette, they also had sausages , they put two of them in a baggette with sauce.

A fresh pigs foot I bought, I used it for two meals, I cooked it with dijion mustard, potatoes, and onions, it was delicious.
