Last day in Trapani, had to use all the food I have left. Took the bus to airport only $3, the cab ride from airport cost me $44 ! I just want to check out the airport again.Bought a straw hat for Favignana at 99cent store, it will be my new look there.

A man was driving a trotter with a horse , just like they use in the trotting races. He was driving it down the busiest street in Trapani.
I bought some summer clothes today, I got 2 pair of slacks,sandals,underwear and a light jacket, all for under $40.
Made Christmas eve pasta and salad, had creampuffs for dessert.

A beautiful spring day, but it was spoiled by an "ugly" American. I was waiting for a bus with other Italians and a black couple and a British couple, This 40's something, loud mouthed American, walks up to the Brits and says, "well I am glad their is some white people here"!

Iwent to museum , that I walked by everyday. I made some creampuffs,they were wonderful.

Today was very windy, I took bus to open air market, none of the fruit and vegatable vendors were there.
It was so windy I could not keep my cap on!
I came home fixed some fritters with the left over couscous, it was delicious. I made fettacini from scratch also.

Sunday, I went to church, I have noticed women do not cover their heads in church.
It was very windy today , did not do much walking.

Today is national holiday, Indepence Day, most everything closed, even the phone store. Limited bus service also.
I cooked some spinach ravioli , with fresh spinach,riccota,romano cheese,moozarella. I made a sauce with olive oil, garlic, fresh tomatoes and marsala wine, it was wondeful.
The boat show was open, not many people there.

I had fried dough and pizza for breakfast. Went to check the beach, they are working on it for the summer.

I went to harbor and the boat show is almost ready.

A beautiful sunny day, went to harbor, they are preparing for boat show this weekend. The Americas Cup was held partly off Trapani in 2005.
I was walking back from beach along the shore and a car stopped, an old man asked me in Italian , if I wanted a ride. He was driving an old Fiat, I tried to sell him a new car!, Just kidding, he was very nice and shook my hand whem he drpped me off.
