This is sure an interesting journal. I love everything, especially:
__ is interesting the people you are meeting, both young and old, of various nationalities. Some even look familiar!
__ very picturesque! I never saw actual fields of wheat before. Gives an idea what inspired the various Euro painters who used fields of wheat as subject matter.
__ the foods are interesting: what people make collectively, what is sold, plus your creations always dazzle.
__ the war memorial has "La Palme d'Or" on it [gold palm leaf]: symbol of the highest excellence in France. Interesting to see it used in that context. Palme d'Or is given at Cannes Film Festival, for example, as a symbol of the highest achievement.
__ glad you are exercising; yet it's nice to know that someone gave you a ride when you needed it, too.
