Today my friend, who works in the deli (salumateria) took me out for a tour of the salt flats. He is going to try and teach me Italian, in return I will try to teach him English.
They pump the water from the sea , with the ancient widmills, the first pond they put it in they take out the fish,they transfer the water to other ponds and after it is evapoated, they scrap off the salt.
